What made you want to join Volkswagen Financial Services?

VWFS is a successful, global company so I knew by joining I would be surrounded by people who all have different life experiences which would allow me to grow. Working for the company has offered me several experiences that I would not be able to receive anywhere else.

What are the highlights of your placement so far?

During my time on the placement I have been given lots of responsibility to lead tasks, doing so it has given me the ability to work with people across the business and improve my knowledge of the sector.

How would you describe the culture at VWFS?

The culture at VWFS is really amazing, everyone is so helpful and friendly. My team in particular were very welcoming and helped me settle into my role nicely.

What do you do on a day to day basis within your role?

On a day to day I work closely on our Chatbot, making constant improvements and making sure we our giving the customer the best experience possible. I will also spend a lot of time reviewing our current journeys and looking for ways to improve them. I then work closely with other teams in the development stage making sure the process is being completed correctly to enable an effective final product once live.

What advice would you give to a student following in your footsteps?

 Some advice I would give is to always complete your tasks to the best of your ability, by doing so you can be confident in presenting what you have done and you will reduce a lot of unnecessary stress that you may have.
