  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I found the experience as a whole engaging and focused on personal development.

  • My colleagues regarded me as a part of the team, including me in all team meetings and explaining situations if I did not have the relevant knowledge.

  • My supervisor gave me briefings on a semi regular briefings, however due to the booking of holidays was not present for an extended period.

  • During the placement at times I felt as though the workload was not stretching on challenging.

  • I was responsible for my own time management and given responsibility and leadership in the intern project.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • During the placement I believe that my understanding of technical aspects were increased, however the work I was given did not allow me to test this understanding

  • Good sense of teamwork and working together in the office I was situated.

  • The format of this internship was very clearly laid out, with clear exit and mid placement reviews.

  • There was very little formal training given to me, however the company invested significant time into our development and gave us an outward bound course, conference and certificate upon completion,

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • Being a large company with lots of different sites I would certainly consider taking up employment at the company, however I would consider looking at other sites.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Yes, both with the other interns and my team.

  • Lived at home so not applicable, however other interns said that rental prices were decent.

  • Nightlife was passable
