  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Whole week was well structured and well organised. Learnt a huge amount.

  • Everyone who I shadowed was very helpful and understanding that we were only first year students with limited knowledge.

  • Mentors stayed constantly in touch, and also called both before the week and afterwards.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • All the days were very well structured and organised apart from the final day (the assessment centre) where there was a large amount of waiting around before and after.

  • Concentrated more on learning and shadowing rather than giving responsibility.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • The workshops on day 1 and 2 were very useful and provided a firm foundation from which we could learn more and develop our skills.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Some slightly odd individuals, but people were largely quite outgoing and social.

  • Going out for drinks in the city was obviously expensive, but the company covered the costs of travel and accommodation.

  • Many pubs in the area.
