  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Got to learn about Capitals markets, specifically the debt side (LevFin, Loans & Acquisition Finance)

  • I felt that my colleagues did try to implicate me as much as they could despite the short time I spent with them

  • My managers were very fair, open and approachable, which was very refreshing

  • The summer time is typically slow in Investment Banking but I did have some busy times when working on deals

  • I was given a decent amount of responsibility for an intern and got to take part in meetings with MDs and directors

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I believe I did manage to learn more about the market aspects of Finance, being in CMO but also improved by knowledge of credit analysis and valuation to some extent

  • Good atmosphere overall

  • Well organised with events, and smooth transitions between rotations

  • The firm did invest in a week's worth of training and other employees did help participate in training us with their explanations and patience

  • drinks and events were often with other colleagues

  • Canary Wharf is a relatively expensive area

  • Great nightlife in London

  • Yes I did mange to make the most of my weekends and enjoy activities with my friends
