Overview
Gained hands-on work experience while networking with knowledgeable and inspirational people. Provided with application tips regarding full-time roles at Citi while learning more about the firm's culture and various initiatives to support an inclusive workplace and society. Received various "deep dives" and "fireside chats" into the world of investment banking, learning about the myriad of ways it is approached by different areas within the firm.
Skills
Skills developed: communication and networking as it was a frequent skill we were required to use on the spring insight programme. Technical knowledge about the M&A process. How to implement DE&I into everything that we pursue.
Business Insight
An extremely enjoyable process which allowed me to learn in an interactive and engaging manner. Gained frequent exposure into the work that Analysts and Associates do, encouraging me to return to the firm after university!
Culture
Extremely inclusive culture with a positive and encouraging environment. Almost all work is completed as a team with likeable people and, given that Citi is formed by its people, means that the firm is likeable too.
