The Role
Great atmosphere and varied work, though work was not always particularly interesting.
Very friendly and quickly integrated, lovely working relationship as well as occasional social activities.
Always someone to ask questions, people happy to help as well as giving good advice for future job applications.
Reasonably busy but never overworked or stressed.
Given tasks that were reasonably important and allowed to get on with them.
Picked up many skills needed for my chosen career path and much more knowledge to show in job applications and interviews.
The Company
Good review structure, though many of the jobs mentioned in the role specification either didn't happen or were only a very small part of the work.
Excellent CV and interview training day and regular reviews to help you think about what skills you have gained, but could have benefitted from more structure.
Flexi Time
Company Parties/Events
Unlikely to lead to paid employment but many opportunities to apply for internal jobs and good position for applying to the graduate scheme.
The Culture
Very difficult to socialise in London whilst unpaid!
Unfortunately no chance to experience the nightlife as a commuter.
Opportunities to volunteer at exciting events.
