The Role
Really enjoyed it! The type of work was exactly what I love to do and the people and the company made the whole experience even better.
Definitely felt valued, any achievements made such as securing auction prizes, creating materials were not only noted but praised. Made it all a little more worthwhile.
Management were always supportive, particularly my mentor. I wasn't afraid to ask for help or advice at any point and was always given helpful and useful answers!
Some days were a lot busier than others, but this is to be expected with the nature of this work. Obviously the nearer the event was, the more hectic things were and the further away they were, the less there was to do!
Was given a range of responsibilities throughout but not ridiculously beyond my ability or experience. It was nice to feel like a valued member of the team and not just 'the intern'.
Have now graduated and so the skills I developed will hopefully assist me in the career industry rather than in my studies.
The Company
The atmosphere was warm, friendly and at times a lot of fun but everyone knew when work needed to be done and got on with it! All in all a good working environment as part of a supportive team.
Well organised from start to finish! With the induction days to the company, induction to team, placement reviews throughout.
There was a CV and interview training day which I feel will be extremely valuable. In terms of other skills, they just seeemed to naturally develop over time.
I would love to stay on here however unfortunately there are no job openings at the moment!
The Culture
All the other interns were lovely, it was really nice to all be in the same boat. Made some great friends and socialised in and out of working hours!
It's London prices, so bound to be expensive. I commuted from home though so the cost of living wasn't much of an issue.
From what we've seen of it it's good!
Yes, many team lunches, events to help out on, drinks after work, which have all been great fun. We even all went to a comedy night together.
