  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • greatly enjoyed the work and the workign environment and mostly the poeple were very helpful

  • never felt like a student, colleagues were very helpful and apprciated any input I could give.

  • my supervisors were excellent in helping me with any problems and giving me clear guideline on what my role was and how I could improve

  • I was left to manage my work and time and this was benefical as it gave me excellent time managemnt skills and allowed me to enjoy the placement even more.

  • For the projects I was researching I wascompletely in charge of the. From plannind, executing, data analysis and presenting the work was down to me.

  • most definatley skills for life and has already helped me to gain experience in several techniques that helped me get my phd

  • very friendly people and very hardworkign was defiantely a great place to work in.

  • They had many pervious students so everything ran smoothly and there were other 50 other students at the site.

  • training at the start for safety and genearal lab work. oppourtuniy to attend seminars for development

  • Enjoyed the placement and maybe possible in the future to work for them

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • over 50 students got to know many of them and made the year great fun!

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • rent was cheaper than i expected and the living cost were not too bad either

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • Okay in steveange had some nice pubs, also central london was only 20 mins by train

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • Gyming was something i did after work. plenlty of oppourtunity for other activites such as horse riding in the area
