About You
The insight was a fantastic opportunity to learn about Rothschild and their GFA department. It fulfilled all my expectations and went above and beyond what I had expected. Very positive experience overall.
I felt very valued at all times. Every one was willing to help, from junior analysts all the way up to Managing Directors.
A sufficient amount. All guidance was available, all one had to do was ask for it. I met up with over 3 analysts and MD's to help my group with our presentation.
Very informative in terms of future career development as it provided a solid understanding of the finance industry. In terms of skills it helped replicate to some degree what M&A analysts would do on a day to day basis and thus will help tailor my degree to future needs.
The Company
Incredibly well structured. There was a clear program and at no one point did I feel as there was nothing to be doing. Packed and busy days were things which made the insight so great.
Overall it was very positive, with everyone willing to lend a helping hand and letting interns know that they were actually valued.
Quite heavily. We had IT and Presentation workshops which were incredibly useful when presenting and developing a pitch.
The work shadowing sessions proved very useful when understanding what employees did on a day to day basis and thus in this regard the insight helped to a great extent in understanding what a full time role would be like.
Very useful. The culture and way Rothschild was different was emphasised very clearly and one really got a feel for it as well.
Very indeed.
Everything Else
Expenses such as accommodation reimbursed.
Yes. A lunch and tea session and 2 work shadowing sessions.
Relaxed and very informative.
Yes but to a lesser degree.
Absolutely.
