The Role
Was given plenty of responsibility and freedom to create new projects and get involved in areas of interest. The office is placed in a central area of Europe, giving plenty of opportunity for travelling and enjoying the diversity.
Results-driven department, where new projects are highly appreciated, and everyone very keen on helping out and seeing ideas realised.
Had weekly meetings with my manager and bi-weekly team meetings to discuss the progress of projects and get feedback on where it could be improved and who could be involved.
There was always plenty of tasks to do, and even if you should find yourself struggling for work, then there are plenty of managers to support or networking opportunities.
I feel I reached a level of responsibility equivalent to a Management position. The company values results. People who are able to show they can create results will gain more responsibility.
Pretty much everything I worked with and learned was related to my degree and my desired future career.
The Company
Hard-working, open, social.
Tasks set up from day one with the possibility of gaining more responsibility if you impress.
The company does not have said training programs or courses for the placement students, however, if you are interested in a field of work, you are able to approach the right people and develop your skills in this area.

The company offers graduate schemes with the opportunity to have rotations in several countries including their global HQ in the US.
The Culture
Our group of interns got on extremely well, and set up an online group with the rest of the company's interns to organise events and travel arrangements.
Very reasonable for the pay.
There is enough diversity in the nightlife of Munich.
Company has its own sports and social clubs society, where they organise events and activities.
