    5/5

  • As a history student, this work did not affect my degree. But soft skills etc were greatly enhanced.

    3/5

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Friendly, everyone was looking to help out. Although I did feel that there was quite a male dominated atmosphere.

    4/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • My placement was not organised as well as others had been, due to the formulaic nature of hsbc internships. The central graduate/intern recruitment team were quite disorganised, there were a lot of problems with them among the interns. Although I didn't seem to have many problems with them.

    2/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • We had a development sheet which could be assessed. However, soft skills, training and that sort of thing weren't purposefully developed in an organised sense.
