  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Very much, it was a really great 8 weeks.

  • Everyone gives you a lot of responsibility and support, which is fab,

  • A lot, there was formal goal setting and frequent reviews of progress as well as the chance to raise concerns.

  • Quite busy, but always managed to finish by 5.30/6.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • As much as a graduate trainee.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • A lot, the workshops on developing business impact and practical skills on the job will definitely be useful for a future career in a related field.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Nice, people were chatty and all got on really well - plenty of doughnuts to go around too!

  • Very well - knew what/where to be every day.

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • A fair bit - a workshop at dedicated training grounds for two days (overnight stay) in High Wycombe which was great fun.

  • Very

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Yes, we had frequent social events in our departments but also interns arranged events for the charity fundraiser

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • London and surrounding areas, so not the cheapest - but travel and accommodation for further away clients was covered.

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • London; though I don't go out so can't comment.

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • Yes, we had a fundraising challenge and our own business presentations to work on.
