    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • The people were all so welcoming and I didn't feel as though I was on an internship, I felt like part of the team.

    4/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • I felt extremely valued. They often gave very positive feedback that made me feel very welcomed into the firm.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • The support is great. I was given a buddy who I could ask all kinds of questions. But also everyone was supportive, all keen to help me out and guide me in the right direction.

    4/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • I felt like I was doing a decent amount of work - but I didn't feel stressed about it, I felt that I was actually being useful and actually being a proper member of the team.

    5/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • It is hard to be given responsibility given the nature of work, however when it was noticed I was able to do certain tasks to a good enough standard, then I was left more to my own. The longer I was there the more responsibility I had. It was a good level of responsibility.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I learnt that hard work, consistency and determination get the absolute best results. This can be applied to everything I now do.

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • The office had a nice and relaxed atmosphere. I was rarely in the office but each location I was placed again had a fun but focused vibe.

    4/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • It was very organised. I wasn't just told to follow others. I was given my own tasks and aims. And had regular meetings to discuss progress.

    4/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • The firm invested a lot in me. The effort with all interns was great. The first insight day was usefully and then a residential training course really helped out with presentation skills which are vital for the job but are also so useful for my final year of university and later life.
