The Role
Friendly and hard working team which presented a great platform to learn but demonstrate and apply the relevant skills to the position. Team were inviting and ambitious and provided lots of work.
Was part of all team meetings, handled telephone calls individually and met clients independently on site without any supervision. Fantastic to be hands on when only a summer intern.
Trusted and respected to get on with the job but felt comfortable to seek help when necessary.
Driven by the market, work was constantly coming through and it was a case of prioritising what had to be done to achieve the objectives of the team.
Individually conducted viewings for Landsecurities holdings which was a huge honour and great experience,
Further developed all the core skills related to surveying having been so proactive during my time at the summer placement.
The Company
Sociable and very human colleagues. Very sharp and assertive and most of all great to work with.
Meetings were organised well and plenty of flexibility if commitments to the team were of a greater importance, presentations could be missed.
Was offered guidance in meetings to address areas which needed attention but demands of the job and market meant concentrating on daily tasks and responsibilities to the team.
The experience was not only a worthwhile experience but really showed that Savills have a well rounded team of highly driven, talented employees who care about eachother and clearly want to make a difference in their designated field. I wasnt to share that passion, take on responsibility and make a difference and drive the busness forward.
The Culture
Invited to the Savills Cricket which was a great evening.
Regularly meet with colleagues in the evening after work.
