  • Great fun, real work and responsibility, learnt a lot and got paid well!

  • Interns and other graduates all really friendly and helpful. Majority of people very approachable

  • Great support from Line manager. Little more help from senior geologist wuold have been helpful.

  • Great balance of working hours. Only in the last week did I run out of things to do.

  • Contributed to actual opperational decisions, inputted on team meetings and deicsions

  • Generally very friendly and approachable

  • Overall internship program well set up but individual projects vary from team to team.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Around 50 interns on our site. Regular trips, events, nights out organised amongst ourselves.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • London or outer-London is not cheap!

  • Not much in immediate vicinity of our site but central London only 25mins on train/tube.
