Overview
We spent the first day learning about people and culture , and had many different talks from people on their careers to and independent of BP, We had talks from very interesting people from within and external to BP. We explored IOC to IEC and net zero ambitions and also did a day of shadowing, Finaly we had a mental health day and also had professional headshots taken
Skills
Yes, I learned allot about bp and how extensive the company is , we looked at how to do interviews and work as a team, Allot of technical knowledge too .
Business Insight
One of the biggest takeaways is how big BP is, you really get a feel for the breadth of the company and how it will expand
Culture
Very friendly and kind , real emphasises on the community within bp and the care and commitment everyone shows. Everyone showed a genuine happiness and appreciation to work there
Your Impressions
Having been to many other insight days, this ranks very high in terms of enjoyment- it was an experience to remember
Yes
Just apply and go for it. Make sure your CV is good and be competent at the online exams. When it comes to virtual interviews really brush up on your knowledge of what BP strives to do - look at the direction the New CEO has taken and try align those with your ambitions too.
