The Role
On the whole, I had quite varied work however it did get repetitive at times. Colleagues were very friendly.
It ranged from team to team however I always felt pretty well valued.
I was given tasks to do and if I needed help, they were happy to answer my questions.
This varied a lot. there were days where I didn't have much work however on the whole, I was kept reasonably busy.
This varied from team to team but I was always given some responsibility and on one or two occasions, maybe too much however this was a good test of my skills
I was able to help cousemates in the year above with some of their units without having been to any of the lectures due to the invaluable knowledge that I had gained from my placement. It will undoubtedly ease the stress of my third year of my course
The Company
My colleagues were very friendly and liked to have a laugh every now and then. Some days were dull though.
Although there wasn't a clear plan from the start, they were happy to adapt my work to what I wanted.
I had some training in various areas, often generic.
Flexi Time
Above 25 days holiday
Although I may be able to get a job with the council, I would prefer to get a graduate job with a private consultancy.
The Culture
We occasionally would have social events
Fairly Average
Ok although I didn't really go out that much
not a lot through work
