  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • I found it most enjoyable, especially the dinner with the partners.

    • PwC made a huge effort, we got a free hoodie, and ice cream!

    • Both evenings spent chatting with graduates and the partners was very insightful, as well as the sessions when we learnt about each of the various departments within PwC.

    • We had sessions on "how to make a good first impression" and "networking" which will be important skills for the rest of my life.

    • It was a very well structures 3 day assessment centre.

    • PwC lived up to their reputation as being a very people focused company.

    • They helped me gain confidence in my presentation skills.

    • I don't think you can really gauge how hard working life will be from a 3 day assessment centre

    • The academy was run with PwC culture in mind, it showed it really was a people focused company.

    • The insights into the different departments of PwC gave me a greater understanding of the different areas and then allowed me to make a more educated choice on which business area I wanted to apply for.

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?

    • I was reimbursed expenses and put up in a hotel for 3 nights. All food and drink was paid for as well.

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?

    • Both evenings we had meals with people from the company

    • Very informative and enjoyable

    • I am a keen sportswoman and so I asked about these opportunities and there were plenty.

    • It was a great thing to do at the end of your first year of university so that you could secure a placement or internship for the following year before you went back for second year.
