  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • The experience overall has certainly been worthwhile, and I've learnt a lot not just about the work of the policy and public affairs directorate, but also the rest of the charity.

    The Company

  • There is a strong work ethic within the policy and public affairs teams at Cancer Research UK. The office also has a rather 'serious' academic feel to it, and is perhaps quieter than other departments.

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • Very well-organised. The Internship Executive kept up to date with new developments and opportunities throughout.

    5/5

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Given that interns were spread over a number of offices, it was a difficult to socialise with interns outside of the building I was in. Within my building however interns did socialise at lunchtimes.
