  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • It was all very enjoyable and fulfilling knowing the work you're doing is going towards a very worthwhile cause

  • Extremely valued, everyone really appreciated the work I was doing.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • lots of support and guidance was provided, if you had any questions/ problems everyone was really approachable and easy to talk to. my manager regularly checked on my progress and went over the work in meetings

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • I always had something to do, I became a lot busier towards the implementation date of the project we were working on but it was never too much or too little.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • A large amount of responsibility within reason, I was working with a very important system within CRUK and thus had to get the changes I was making checked over but the work I was doing I had a lot of responsibility over.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Already I have found I'm more organised can prioritise my time better and have a greater ability to be concise and to the point which is extremely helpful in scientific study. I was also able to discuss with scientists regarding the best route for my degree which is really useful.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Such a lovely atmosphere in the office, everyone is really friendly and is always up for a tea break chat! there is a good working atmosphere also which keeps you going on the tough days!

  • There is a volunteering department which organising the internship schemes, the department works really hard to ensure everything runs smoothly which it did and they really help make your time at CRUK enjoyable and worthwhile!

  • CRUK want to make sure they've really given back to the interns and helped you develop along the way.

  • Very appealing, you make lots of good contacts here too.

  • All interns are really friendly and organised lots and lots of social events.

  • It's London so it's quite pricy but there's good deals around!

  • IT'S LONDON SO AMAZING

  • From roller discos to volunteering at CRUK runs/walks/road shows there was loads
