  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I enjoyed certain roles more than others.

  • I felt as if I was treated like any other colleague.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • Initially I felt there was a lack of support. However, this most definately improved as the year went on.

  • Although the work load did vary, I felt that I was rarely bored or too busy.

  • I was given a fair amount of responsibility.

  • I am really glad I did a placement as its given me an idea of what i'd like to do when I graduate.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • I worked in several different offices. The atmosphere was great in some and too quiet in others.

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • The placement was not originally supposed to be 3 different roles, this is something which I had to push for myself.

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • Good inductions were provided in each of my roles and I was able to take time off in work to learn more about a certain area of the business.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Socials were organised in some offices.

  • Cheap accomodation and drinks/food

  • Very limited in Burton itself.
