  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • This internship was really pleasant and insightful. This was a great learning experience.

  • The team was always ready to help. All the work done by the interns was greatly appreciated. Timely feedback was given.

  • Both manager and mentor gave me great support throughout the internship. They provided me with relevant guidance and were very knowledgeable when answering my questions. Thanks!

  • There was always something on my to do list. However, the work pace was just fine.

  • I was given the right amount of responsibilities at the right time. Though I felt I could handle more.

  • Excellent!

  • CRUK invests a lot in the intern development activities. There were many events, talks and support sessions during the whole period.

  • The prospects are somehow appealing to me. However, I have decided to pursue my career somewhere else.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • The other interns were involved in various activities, though I was not quite interested in them and did not take part.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • It is cheaper than many of the better areas of London.

  • I never go out in the area around.

  • Even though I did not take part in these, there were lots of opportunities.
