  • On the whole a very enjoyable experience.

  • I felt like the work I completed was valued by my colleagues

  • My manager was very good and generally helped me when I needed it.

  • I was very busy all the time.

  • I was given a fair amount of responsibility, I think the right balance of not too much but enough that I felt like I was making a difference

  • I think I learnt some useful skills and my experience should be useful when applying for other jobs.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Fun atmosphere, people got on with their work but still were chatty. A good balance

  • I think it was very well organised from start to finish

  • We were given a CV training workshop.

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • Applied for a job in a different department, got an interview but didn't get it as I didn't have enough experience. However, my line manager and colleague were extremely supportive during the application process and even gave me a mock interview which was very helpful!

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • All the interns were actively encouraged to socialise with each other

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • London is always pretty expensive, especially when you aren't getting paid! Some bars/pubs nearby where there were happy hour deals on though, so not too bad.

  • Lots of pubs/bars/restaurants
