The Role
The internship has been above and beyond my expectations. I had my own projects and responsibility, the team were supportive and friendly and the work was really enjoyable!
The team always showed their appreciation for my help with lots of thanks!
I had regular 1-2-1 meetings with my mentor and constant communication with her regarding my tasks.
I think I had about half a week out of the whole internship where I could take things a bit more slowly for a change!
I had full responsibility over my own projects, so I could put my all into something to be a success knowing that it was all down to me.
I feel I've learned a lot at the charity and come along way. I've faced many challenges and realised my capabilities and strengths. I've gained confidence in many skills which I'll hopefully be apply to my next job.
The Company
The sports team in fundraising are a very active and lively bunch of people with regular bake-offs and social things.
Completely structured and efficient.
I received some helpful training in applying for jobs eg. covering letters and CV straight from the recruiting officer which was helpful.
