The Role
I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Allianz, the people and ethos of Allianz as a whole has been absolutely amazing, and I am sad that the internship has come to an end.
Everyone was very embracing, in relation to projects we were actually given projects to work on that will go live once the internship is over. This enabled us to feel valued by project sponsors and managers etc.
Support was given whenever I asked, all I had to do was ask.
There were times, where I was left twiddling my thumbs, however that could be partly because I wasn't going out there and asking.
I was given quite a fair share of responsibility, as we did work that would become business as usual for the company.
The Internship allowed me to build on my confidence, and general transferable skills, which will inevitably assist me in the future.
The Company
Amazing.
Perhaps a little bit more of a structure would have been nice.
My line manager went out of her way to ensure that I was building on the skills in which i wanted.
