The Role
The corporate culture and people were great. The projects were also interesting. Having worked for a number of years I was used to have slightly more responsibility compared to some occasions during my internship, which I expected.
My team made me feel like one of 'the family' but due to the size of the organisation it was not possible to cross-paths with everyone in the wider department.
My Mentor was very approachable
It was a nice balance of being busy but not over-worked, leaving time to learn more about the organisation as a whole
For the projects I was given I had a good level or responsibility but of course given the infrastructure, certain things could only be implemented with the 'buy-in' of certain stakeholders
I wanted to develop my skills in online marketing and Social Media to increase my career prospects and the internship I feel "filled the gap"
The Company
Everyone I encountered was really friendly and helpful
Great induction programme, would have been nice to have had a few more social activities organised by the team responsible for the internship
Subsidised Canteen
I am actively looking for a suitable role within the organisation now
The Culture
Central London based so costs were relatively high
Didn't really investigate this
There were various Volunteer opportunities at fund raising events
