    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I have really enjoyed the work that I have been given. I feel like I have been given responsibility and have been fully involved on current projects. The training I have been given has been very interesting and helpful.

  • Feel like a valued member of the team and have been made to feel very welcome by the staff.

  • Had weekly catchups with my mentor. Felt I could ask for help at any time if I needed it.

  • I was always occupied but never felt under too much pressure from the workload.

  • I felt I was given a suitable amount of responsibility.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I developed my research skills during my internship which will be very beneficial when I return to University to continue my History degree. The induction days that I attended at the start of my internship gave me a good overview to the organisation and helped me understand how such a big organisation works.

  • Very good atmosphere, everyone was very passionate about their work.

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • The internship scheme was incredibly well organised, there was a specific full-time job role to organise the internship scheme.

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • I had two full induction days, had training on the relevant company software and received C.V and Interview training.

  • I would love to return to work for this organisation in the future.

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • A couple of socials were organised in the evenings. Many of the Interns spent their lunch breaks together.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Central London is always going to be expensive!
