  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • A great overview of the corporate finance industry, several occasions to network and well organised day

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?

    • Talks from management and senior management was unexpected for only a one day insight day- nice to see.

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?

    • A bit more guidance on how to choose the best role for us (within finance) would have been nice. Also more guidance on the application deadlines would have been beneficial- left a little bit lost as to when to apply.

    • Was not intended for skill building- great for networking and getting information.

    • Structured and varied day- a lot of thought was put into it.

    • Overall great- including travel it lasted a full 12hrs for me. Gives a true insight into the long hours people are required to work in this type of industry.

    • Key members of staff invested their time in speaking to/ with us.

    • So many opportunities to speak to various roles within the company about a typical day at work- really insightful.

    • Core values were presented throughout the day. I think there may still be some discrepancies between what they say their culture is like and what it actually is like from hearing what the presenters said to hearing what the individual employees said.
