The Role
I thoroughly enjoyed the placement.
During my placement I never really felt like an intern, always treated like an established member of staff.
I received constant support all through my placement from both management, my buddy and other members of staff.
Over the placement the workload was balanced, somedays low on volumes and others very hectic.
I was given a lot of responsibility and required to take sole ownership over issues.
I believe during this internship I have learned many transferable skills, along with MS specifics.
The Company
The atmosphere within the office is one of the elements I enjoyed the most about the placement.
The placement was very well organised and structured.
I feel MS invested a lot in myself with regards to training courses are such.
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
I have applied for the graduate programme.
The Culture
The social scene amongst the interns was amazing, from just meeting up at lunch to nights out.
The cost of living and socialising was understandable given the fact it was Glasgow.
The nightlife in Glasgow is really good and offers a lot.
There where some options available to interns, such as golf days and charity events.
