The Role
Really enjoyed working in the team but my background didn't match the job which was more IT/accounting focused.
Team were really welcoming and assigned me plenty of work.
There is a big focus on personal development at Morgan Stanley and management really encourage you develop your skills and think about what you would like from a career.
Project work meant that many ad-hoc tasks would arise to keep me busy.
Balanced level of responsibility.
Picked up many useful skills, especially knowledge about how big organizations work and how to get best experience out of working for a big company.
The Company
Good balance between professionalism and fun, my team worked longer hours however than other ops teams.
My manager had a work plan designed for me to guide me through my entire internship.
Morgan Stanley really put alot of time into developement and have speaker series and networking sessions.

Met so many interesting fellow interns from really diverse backgrounds.
Costs were higher in central london.
Great after work bars in canary wharf.
Plenty of networking and volunteering opportunities.
