  • A good experience of the Test/Development sector of Engineering

  • Continuous advice was provided throughout the year, on personal and professional levels alike

  • Always encouraged to be pro-active during more lean work periods

  • I was permitted to co-ordinate customers test programmes with minimal assistance

  • Skills such as time management/planning and customer interaction, as well as general communicative abilities that have been developed will be invaluable in future employment

  • Very healthy, jovial yet professional atmosphere. A good work morale assisted in maintaining a strong enthusiasm and work ethic

  • It was helpful to begin my experience with the department from the ground up, initial time with the technicians to understand instrumentation/test preparation as well as the opportunity to talk to the technicians which was helpful once I made the transition into an engineering role, delegating tasks to them

  • Arrangements were made to ensure I became familiar with all varieties of test work conducted by the department

  • Sports and Social Club

  • Plenty of opportunity to grow within the organisation especially given the investment plan from the new owners

  • A number of gatherings were organised

  • Cost of living was reasonable...when comparing against the cost of living at University in London

  • Didn't sample Bedford on many occasions

  • Millbrook sports and social - badminton, squash, football, karting was also organised on a couple of occasions
