    5/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • My work load fluctuated, the majority of the time it kept at a nice level of busy however I occassionally had to stay late to meet deadlines and at other times found myself in periods where there wasnt enough to keep me busy.

    4/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I was suprised with the level of responsability I had during the placement, you are really counted as a key member of the team and you're expected to contribute to projects as much as everyone else. I liked this as you're not just treated as the "placement student".

    5/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I've learnt and built upon a vast range of skills which can be transfered to help me in my final year as well as in my future professional career. This placement really builds your confidence and maturity a long way in just one year.

    5/5

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • The atmosphere in the office could have been better. There were too few people in a large area which led the office to be extremely quite at times, however the colleagues who I interacted with were great people. on this note, the company are moving office next year and the general atmosphere should improve vastly!

    3/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • Very well set up, from the moment i started i had introduction meetings with many of the different units across the company and I was always a part of at least three seperate projects running concurrently, including one project which ran throughout the year.

    5/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • I was given the opportunity to attend five of our professional education meetings across the UK as well as two in Germany. I undertook a two day theatre access course which allowed me to watch live surgery with our sales reps on multiple occassions. I've also visited digital, marketing and advertising agencies.

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • HR were not good at all in creating a community for getting to know the other placement students however luckily enough of us took the initiative to get in contact with the other placement students through Facebook and arranged some good nights out.
