    Responsibilities

  • Solely responsible for CTA activities for multiple clinical trials. Also allocated responsibilities within the team, including within training of new CTAs and presentations.

    Support & Guidance

  • 4. How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
  • Supported by two mentors with daily contact and weekly meetings. Work allocated and overseen by a line manager, who I had frequent meetings with. CTA tasks overseen by the study team, including site managers and local trial manager. Supported by a large team of experienced CTAs to answer questions and check my work when necessary.

  • Very friendly culture, where asking questions and forming new connections was encouraged. I felt very supported by all colleagues in my team, and it felt my personal and professional development was a priority.

  • Thoroughly enjoyed my placement year, as it feels extremely valuable for my personal and professional development. I have made an extensive network of connections to support my future career, and feel I have gained a huge number of skills which will be essential for my future studies and graduate prospects. I have also obtained a huge amount of industry knowledge and understanding.

  • 8. What advice would you give to others applying to Johnson & Johnson
  • Focus on relevant experience and demonstrating skills listed in the job description when writing your CV and completing the video interview and assessment centre. Ensure you are demonstrating skills such as communication, teamwork, time management and attention to detail, as these are extremely important for the role. For any Johnson & Johnson application, make sure you read up on The Credo, as this will come up on the interview!
