    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • A lot of training and support mechanisms were provided during this internship and there was also a lot of variation on a day to day basis. This made the whole experience enjoyable.

  • As time went by, I felt more and more valued by my colleagues.

  • There was almost continuous support and guidance available.

  • This varied a lot, and was dependent to some degree on how proactive I was as an intern in terms of looking for things to do.

  • There was a lot of resposibility given to me to manage my project.

  • There was very much a focus on training and development during this program. Also, we were expected to show initiative and be proactive in what we did, which very quickly develops skills.

  • My colleagues were very supportive and friendly throughout.

  • There was a lot of structure to the internship
