The Role
The job was very demanding at times but was made easier by the people that I worked with
My colleagues regularly thanked me for the work that I carried out
Although this fluctuated, some days could be very quiet whereas others could be extremely busy
I was in a team of 3 serving the UK and Ireland so was immediately given a great deal of responsibility
I learned a lot of new skills whilst at Lenovo and as a result of the placement experience, I have decided to write my dissertation about the value added by it
The Company
I didn't have a laptop for the first week as I stated before all the other students but this was not a problem as the first couple of weeks were spent observing my predecessor to learn the role.
I was regularly asked if I wanted to go on any training schemes either internal or external.
