  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • An enjoyable week, but slightly too passive, with mostly presentations.

    • Friendly people who were willing to take time to speak to you.

    • It was an organised three days so we did not need any guidance/support.

    • Not sure that it will help me in my degree, however, will be handy for a career.

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?

    • It was well structured in terms of organisation and timings, but too presentation based.

    • The passive nature meant that it could get a bit boring at times. There were some interactive sessions which were enjoyable.

    • Had interactive trading sessions and case studies which were helpful.

    • Although we had many presentations, it would be helpful to have some work shadowing to see what a full time role is like.

    • Speaking to employees gave me a good idea of the company's culture - one of openness and development.

    Everything Else

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?

    • Live within M25, yet they still reimbursed tube expenses. Lots of other people were given accommodation.

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?

    • Yes, we had drinks on Monday and a closing dinner on Wednesday, in addition to a 'career fair' where we could speak to people from different departments.

    • Enjoyable, social, relaxing, yet at the same time insightful.

    • No, was mostly talking about work.
