    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Had a really good 6 weeks at PwC, I was really involved and got a good understanding of what it meant to be to work at the company.

    4/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • As I was placed on big clients, and we were going through a busy time I was really involved and people mentioned many times how helpful I was to have around.

    4/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • I felt there were many levels within the system that I could go to for support. Most teams have assosciates on that had done internships only a few years ago so they understood what you were going through. The system of a people manager and a buddy also meant you had personal support at all stages aswell. The policy within PwC it always to ask and consult to it meant we got alot of support through all aspects.

    5/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • My days were full and challening but I was always able to leave on time and even told to go if I was staying longer so people were aware of what was expected of us. We were always asked if we could take on work and it is okay to turn work away if you are too busy. Everyone is understanding, I was always busy so days flew by which was great.

    4/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • The policy with PwC is for everyone to have their worked checked before sending out to clients, this is totally normal so you don't feel stupid having all your work reviewed. I was given a fair amount of responsibility and appreciated this.

    4/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • It will give me a good idea of what to expect from a work place in the future which is very valuable.

    5/5

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?

    4/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • From orientation to implementation we were so well looked after.

    4/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
