    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • I got involved in a wide range of work, met some really cool people and got a great insight into the structure and direction of the firm.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?

    • It felt like a 2-week introduction to the firm, rather than one-off 2-week visit.

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?

    • Trainee buddys and supervisors were fantastic, but by all accounts where the supervisor / trainee buddy didn't have much work to give you, you were encouraged to go out and meet the people from your department to find more.

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • I developed stronger presentation skills during the client pitch exercise, business research skills and better IT skills.

    • Very well structured with lots of events designed to help you get to know more people.

    • Friendly and inclusive. Some departments were busier than others, but generally you felt the work you were getting involved in did add value.

    • We were given a presentation skills workshop, an IT workshop and a telephone workshop. In terms of partner time durign the scheme I was also very impressed.
