The Role
My manager was often busy. Nevertheless he's been incredibly supportive, almost like a mentor.
It all depends on the day really. Some days you could be incredibly busy and some you'd have nothing to do. It all depends on your role.
I was given quite a lot of responsibility. I had projects to run and maintian and reports to fill out weekly. You truly feel as if you're part of the company and not just an intern.
I think any placement will teach you a lot about working life. So it's no surprise to find that HP have taught me skills I will carry with me for life.
The Company
Depending on the time of year the office always seemed to have a buzz about it. Whether it be from the interns or the regular employees.
When we started we had an initial month of training with the previous interns who taught us how to do the job efficiently.
A lot of training was available online if needed,
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Working from home
Healthcare from home
