The Role
I didn't really enjoy it, the staff within the office were generally quite rude and dismissive. I was sent on meaningless errands majority of the time and barely recieved a thankyou at the end of the placement.
I just felt like a passerby really, they didn't seem to care whether i was there or not.
All direction and supervision was handled by junior staff members who took the time and effort to explain things to me and make sure i didn't get lost.
Too busy, constantly out running around london or doing stock takes.
none.
Waste of my time to be honest.
The Company
The permanent staff members had a laugh, but other than that it seemed quite tense yet no care was taken with any tasks.
It was arranged in advance which was good, gave me time to plan and arrange my time in london.
none, they knew i was there temporarily and didn't seem to bother to invest anything in me.
None.
The Culture
None.
London is very expensive, and this took a toll on my finances during my placement.
Luckily i had my uni friends with me, so we enjoyed it when we could.
none.
