The Role
I felt I learnt a huge amount and would recommend applying.
Everyone made me feel extremely welcome
I was given a lot of support but allowed to undertake projects on my own, giving me valuable development
I had a lot of work to do but never felt stressed or under too much pressure
I project managed the Stonewall application and learnt a lot from having this large responsibility.
I developed some great business acumen and corporate skills I will use in my future career
The Company
There were opportunities for a laugh but work still got done.
Very well organised, I felt supported the whole way through
They gave me a huge amount of opportunities and i learnt more than I thought I would.

I've applied for a grad scheme with BAE Systems Detica and have had a first round interview.
The Culture
There were 2 other interns in head office and we went for lunch together quite a few times
I lived at home for this internship as I lived about an hour away so for me it was very cheap
I stayed at home for my internship and travelled to work each day so didn't go out where the internship was, only at home
There are lots of opportunities to get involved in sports/ charity work
