The Role
Very interesting internship with friendly and approachable employees
They often came to me to help with their client work (even if a lot of time it was quite basic things), and I felt appreciated.
I could always ask my "buddy" for help, and he was very willing to spend a lot of time on any problems I had
The very beginning of the week wasn't normally too busy, but it got much busier as Friday (and deadlines) approached.
I was doing some client work and double checking the work of the grad's pretty regularly.
It's given me a great insight into KPMG and how large businesses work
The Company
We had a few office parties (with free beer!) and everyone in the office seemed fun
There were a few times where I was in a bit of a limbo, but my supervisor helped me out very quickly
I went to all the same trainings as the new grads and I felt like KPMG cared about my progression
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
Above 25 days holiday
I had a partner interview after the internship and found out a had the job a few weeks after that.
The Culture
They often went out for lunch together and to the pub in the evening
London. Very expensive!
The office was just off Fleet Street, so very easy to get pretty much anywhere in London
I played cricket a few times for the office outside of work hours
