  • Overall, I feel going on Placement was a good experience, which I have learned a lot from.

  • Employee's in my department made me feel welcome when I first arrived, and we have had many events to integrate staff and students in activities

  • Overall, Support was good, I had weekly meetings with my manager to discuss how work was going

  • Sometimes did not have enough to do.

  • I have learned a lot from this placement, and developed skills, which can hopefully improve my uni degree and my future career

  • For most of the time the atmosphere in the office was on the quiet side

  • Everything was well prepared in advance, and qureies were quickly answered

  • The company invested in programming and communication training courses on me while on placement

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Many students from different areas, such as IT and Science. We were able to form a large group, and socialise inside and outside of work. The social scene with other students was definately the best aspect of the placement

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • The area had a few bars and a nightclub, mostly for nights out we went elsewhere
