  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Good variety of challenging work provided. Clear direction was sometimes lacking.

  • Great atmosphere, very friendly.

  • Had a very good manager who was always happy to help, especially with University requirements.

  • Self management mostly meant that business was generally perfect.

  • Sole person working on early stage research project, a lot of responsibility.

  • Really useful skills learnt. Research in industry and nature of working in business really useful skills to have.

  • Traditional engineering, sometimes quite stuffy.

  • Administration of placement was reasonable, sometimes lacking.

  • Good social club associated with office.

  • Fairly expensive area, but plenty of socialising opportunities
