The Role
Good variety of challenging work provided. Clear direction was sometimes lacking.
Great atmosphere, very friendly.
Had a very good manager who was always happy to help, especially with University requirements.
Self management mostly meant that business was generally perfect.
Sole person working on early stage research project, a lot of responsibility.
Really useful skills learnt. Research in industry and nature of working in business really useful skills to have.
The Company
Traditional engineering, sometimes quite stuffy.
Administration of placement was reasonable, sometimes lacking.
Happy to provide training for anything related to the project.
Sports and Social Club
Job offers dependent on my preference at the end of the placement.
The Culture
Good social club associated with office.
Fairly expensive area, but plenty of socialising opportunities
I was on a University campus....
Good area to be working in, plenty of stuff happening.
