The Role
Really enjoyed it, the work atmosphere was really good and I got on very well with the other interns in my department which helped!
Felt valued, they listened to my opinions and gave helpful advice.
Given support but also some good challenges that helped me to learn lots of new things!
I was never not doing anything, there was always something to do and it was mostly good fun.
I was given a whole project to work on by myself. Had regular meetings to check my progress and recieve help/advice.
Learnt a lot of electronics which was useful for one of my university modules.
The Company
Lots of great banter, was very comfortable.
Well organised!
I was trained on the laser cutting machine and was able to use a 3D printer and some other machines for manufacturing a prototype.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Was offered a sponsorship and future summer placements with the company.
The Culture
There was a karting trip planned within the department, and some pub lunches.
Not bad.
Could be better, but the area is small so its understandable.
There were festivals or other events every weekend.
