  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • It was really varied and I was given a good level of responsibility

  • My colleagues were a really close knit group and they were very friendly.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • I had weekly meetings to feed back and monitor my progress. These were really helpful and gave me a good level of help and guidance.

  • Really busy but still time for tea breaks!

  • I had a good amount of responsibility without it being too stressful.

  • Great insight into the working world and met some great people.

  • It was a really nice working environment with great variation of people in each office

  • The company clearly has a well structured system for placement students which works really well.

  • I had plenty of training whilst on placement and was shown a variety of new techniques.

  • There was plenty of discussion regarding further employment and positive feedback.

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • The placement students did get on well and there were also apprentices and many employees in a similar age group.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Liverpool was very reasonable and cheap!

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • Good nightlife, the site is close to Liverpool and Chester both of which are great nights out.

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • Yes, I was a member of the badminton club and a social group for younger uni lever employees!
