The Role
I felt quickly integrated into the office environment and was given responsibilities which excelled my expectations.
I felt valued and like a member of the team.
I was given good advice on multiple occasions and have changed my dissertation topic as a consequence of that.
I was kept reasonably busy but didn't feel overwhelmed as it was during summer and people were off on holiday.
I was given my own projects.
The skills were very relevant to my degree.
The Company
Great, easy going and professional.
Very easy the only thing I had to organise myself was accommodation.
My supervisor was the second most senior member of the team, so had to invest a lot of time in my training.
There seemed to be a good structure in place which encouraged development.
The Culture
I was the only placement at the time but I participated in social events weekly.
As it was in the city centre slightly more expensive than I am used to.
Good nightlife was great and the people were nice.
There was only one activity for the duration of my placement.
