The Role
I really enjoyed the placement. The team and other interns were great and very welcoming, the work was varied and enjoyable.
My colleagues were very supportive and made sure I understood the work I was given and the tasks assigned to me. They were very enthusiastic about the work I'd been doing and supportive.
My mentor was fantastic and included me in all aspects of office life. I always knew who to ask if I needed anything.
I had a good variety of work, on some days I would have liked to be more busy.
I was given more responsibilty than I thought, and I really enjoyed it. The tasks were realistic and achievable - and i was given support and guidance throughout.
This is the area in which the internship was the most helpful. I learnt lots about the charity sector as a whole and heaps about corporate partnerships in particular. The work I was given helped immensly in developing my confidence and also provided much needed experience to gain a job in the competitive charity sector.
The Company
The office is quite lively, especially as there were 3 other interns in my office.
The internship scheme is fantasically well run, the induction days were a brilliant way to introduce the company and made sure all the interns knew each other before we began work. We had regular feedback sessions and set points were we knew things would happen.
The company were very accomodating and every bit of training I asked for I was given without any hesitation. The development was also fantastic, with cv and interview training and brilliant feedback schemes.

Fantastic. I would love the chance to work for them again.
The Culture
The group of interns in my office were fantastic. There was a real buzz over lunch and we organised regular activities to meet up after work and relax together!
It was quite expensive as we were in central london, but it was worth it! and we always tried to find the best deals around!
Fantastic. We worked a 5 min walk away from Covent Garden!
I volunteered at the Brighton Marathon, and there were plenty of other volunteering oppoutunites I could have got involved with if I had the time!
