  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I really enjoyed my year at PwC

  • I worked in a great team, and definitely felt valued by my colleagues. I made some great friends throughout the year

  • The support throughout the year was fantastic

  • Parts of the year were busier than others, however there was always work to do and my manager was constantly aware of my workload

  • I was given the same responsibilities as other members of the team who were full time staff and not placement students

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Certain parts of my placement was related to my degree, such as research based elements, however the main skills I gained in relation to university include time keeping, balancing work loads and organisation skills.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • My team were very fun and friendly - definitely a good balance of working hard but enjoying the work

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • We were part of the first cohort of business placments within HR. I think the year was set up well, and in line with other business placements. PwC focuses on feedback from students so they are always able to improve and tweak the programmes which I think is great.

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • There was a big focus on personal development and this fit in line with the development programme of the whole firm

  • I would love to be able to return to work at PwC

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • PwC is such a large company there are always social oppurtunites - within your team, the business placement cohort or the wider PwC business. I met so many different people throughout the year - there is a big focus on networking

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • I was working in central London so not the cheapest area to live/socialise, however you do get paid London weighting

  • Central London so amazing nightlife!

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • At PwC there are many social clubs and endless networks/societies/sports clubs to be involved in
