    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • The people were brilliant but I think the job role could have been more related to my department as opposed to general admin roles.

    4/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • 3/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • 2/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Some days I would be really busy (which I loved) but some days I literally would have nothing to do.

    3/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I was given a lot of responsibility with some tasks, but not taken as seriously with others.

    3/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • My job role didn't relate to university work at all, but the career development days and introduction into working life was brilliant.

    2/5

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • The people were welcoming and inviting and I will definitely miss working with them.

    5/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • I don't think the job roles were very well thought out (bored a lot of the time). Although, we were the first year Boots ever did a placement year so it's all learning for the future.

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • It all depends on one person whether decide if you get a job after, which can be seen as a little unfair.
